We know everything there is to know about painting interior spaces. Paint type is extremely important when painting a surface, it can make or break your outcome. There are two types of paints that can be used for interior painting – oil and acrylic. Acrylic based paint is better for rooms that collect a lot of moisture, for instance a bathroom. Oil-based paints are better for rooms that withstand natural light, and they typically last longer than acrylic paints. (Acrylic paint is the cheapest option of the three if sticking to a budget is important, but doesn’t have the longevity of oil paint).

Another thing to think about when painting your home is, how long to leave it before moving back in. If painting with water-based and acrylic paints, then there’s no need to worry as you can be inside the space that is being painted – but still be mindful of the fumes though. Oil-based paint takes longer to dry and has more fumes. But don’t worry, we’ll inform you of everything you need to know before we get the job started.
